Newsom, Bed Bath & Beyond, Bailouts & Intel. Don’t California-ize America.
Bed Bath & Beyond just announced it won’t reopen stores in California. The reason is simple: doing business there has become too expensive. Governor Gavin Newsom mocked the decision, but this is part of a bigger trend of overregulation driving companies out of the state. Now the same mindset is going national. Intel has lost more than $20 billion in the past year, and President Trump is considering a government stake in the company. That isn’t America First. It’s corporate welfare that pushes us further down the road to serfdom.
